Whether you're a local or visiting Northern Michigan's Sleeping Bear Dunes area, don't start your day with subpar coffee. Our downtown Frankfort coffee shop serves expertly crafted beverages that fuel your Northern Michigan adventures.
Higher Grounds Coffee on Main Street
Our downtown Frankfort location serves Higher Grounds coffee, espresso drinks, iced coffee, and smoothies for locals and Sleeping Bear Dunes visitors.
Fresh Baked Goods
Pair one of our coffee beverages with a baked good made in house for a morning routine that will make ask "how are you always so happy in the morning?".
Local Ingredients
You get out what you put into things. That's why our menu leans on recognizable local and regional ingredients, from Higher Grounds coffee to Michigan blueberry smoothies.
Fresh Ground Beans
Located on Main Street in downtown Frankfort, we source our beans from Higher Grounds in the Traverse City area for a consistent cup before work, errands, or a day on the lakeshore.
Petals and Perks is my favorite cafe in Northern Michigan. It's so cozy inside, and the staff is terrific. The coffee comes from Higher Grounds and its brewed to perfection. The iced coffee on a hot summer day is pure perfection.

Cute little shop with great service! Brewed Chai Tea was delicious. Everyone was friendly and positive. Service stood out as excellent when compared to other shop experiences.

Cute little cafe with a lot of expressions. Grab a coffee and a travel mug to go while you venture out on the town.
